I am a Japanese Multidisciplinary Artist and Illustrator who mix analog and digital tools to create my imaginary world, that brings the warmth of human touch to innovation.
I have been combining AR with my illustrations to create immersive experiences and a new way of paper communication.
I have been interested in "What's Possible With My Illustrations”, which is becoming core of my creation and it always excites me

Hi! I am Aiko Fukuda, a Japanese Multidisciplinary Artist and Illustrator, and a recent member of Adobe Creative Residency, based in Tokyo. I was born and raised in Chiba, Japan and moved to Boston after finishing my high school. I graduated from Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts with a B.A. in Graphic Design. After completing my studies in the U.S. I returned to Tokyo, I started working as the in-house Graphic Designer for luxury concepts stores, and as Art Director for a Japanese tech company. At the same time, I continued my love for drawing where I find peace and serenity. Subsequently, in 2014, I decided to become a full-time freelance illustrator.
I mix analog and digital tools to create my work with hand drawn style. My works are mostly paper-based illustrations because I believe in the power of the papers. Paper is a timeless format that enable me to leave my sentiment through it compared to just sending information via emails. People don’t use papers as much as they used to, but I believe that paper will never die and there are still lots of possibilities we can use papers in a new way. My life-time research about "What's Possible With My Illustrations" is becoming a bridge between paper and technology and I integrate those two things together to create a new way of communication.
